Pool Sessions
During the pool sessions, you will be shown all the proper
techniques to scuba dive safely and efficiently. Guided by your
Instructor, basic diving skills will become second nature while you train in
a safe, warm, supervised manner. Our Instructors make it their goal to
insure you are 100% ready for your Open Water Evaluation Dives. Our
commitment to our customers is to train with care and compassion, and never
compromise the standards of your training. We will never let any
student progress to open water diving, unless they are 100% ready! |
Evaluation Scuba Dives
You
have learned all you need to know during your class and pool sessions, now it's time to go
diving! During your Eval Dives, your instructor will observe your diving skills in
an Open Water environment. You will be asked to perform the basic skills you
mastered in the pool, during 4 individual scuba dives. Your instructor
will guide you and give you helpful hints and advice to make your diving experience
enjoyable. Upon successfully completing your Class/Pool sessions and Eval dives you
will be an Internationally certified Scuba Diver! |

Student
Study Materials
We offer a Comprehensive Home
enhancement study program,
consisting of all the material you need to complete your Scuba course. Included are the Scuba video,
audio tapes and Adventures in Diving student
text, which are an enjoyable and
effective way to learn important information.
A workbook will help you test your new diving knowledge and help prepare you
for the exciting and enjoyable sport of Scuba Diving!
Each student will receive a Scuba Diving textbook upon enrolling in diving
class, and may upgrade to the
Comprehensive Home
enhancement study program. Ask your instructor for

What You Need
All new diving students are
required to have their own personal snorkeling gear, consisting of a mask and snorkel and
a pair of diving fins and booties. A hood & gloves are a good idea for cooler waters. All gear is available at
Fathom
Divers at special student prices, and is professionally fitted for comfort and function! And when you come to class don't forget to bring
your completed student workbook, a notebook, pen, towel, swimsuit, a positive attitude & a desire to have FUN! |

Executive Scuba Diver Course:
$795
This is Fathom Divers’ Flagship and most popular
Diver Certification Course
The
Executive Scuba Course is designed to meet the time
constraints of the busy person, family or vacationer in mind. Students
complete a comprehensive home study program prior to the start of class.
(Please
pick up materials at lease one week early)
Fitting into one weekend, the executive Scuba Course is essentially a private course,
with students also working at home to fulfill the
certification requirements. We invite you to train with
a loved one or friend, however to keep with our excellence of training we
limit the enrolment to only 4 people. Course includes the Home Study

Basic Scuba
Diver Course: $395.00+ $50 Study Materials
This is our two to five week,
weeknight course, consisting of class & pool sessions and 5 open water
dives. The Trainees should get materials
at least one week early to familiarize themselves with the varied topics
of diving. We only allow 8 people maximum in our Basic
Diver course.

Experienced Diver
Course: $250
This course is designed for people with open water diving
experience, but are not certified through any recognized diving agency.
You must complete our home study program and written test. Then we
will bring you to the pool and evaluate your basic diving skills. When
satisfied with your pool performance, we will evaluate your diving
efficiency on 2 open water dives. Please call or

Provided in all our beginning scuba diving training courses is the use
regulators, tanks, weights, BCDs, pool and class time, air fills, wetsuits,
booties, gloves, hoods, testing materials and handouts, registration,
certification and c-card. Students are required to provide their own personal
snorkeling gear consisting of Mask, Snorkel, fins.
All gear is available at
Fathom Divers at special student prices, and is professionally
fitted for comfort and function! A reservation is required to join any course.
Please note certification is not guaranteed, you must pass all the course
requirements before final certification. |
